Get packing!

It’s time to start planning your menu. When it comes to picnicking, simplicity is key. Choose foods that are easy to transport and can be enjoyed without utensils, such as sandwiches, fruit, and snacks. Don’t forget to pack drinks, plates, cups, and utensils, as well as a cooler to keep your food and drinks fresh.

Homemade food for a picnic

When it comes to picnicking, homemade dishes are a great option because they can be customized to your tastes and are often more cost-effective than store-bought options. Here are some simple dishes that you can make yourself for a picnic:

Sandwiches are a classic picnic food that are easy to make and customizable. Consider using ingredients such as ham and cheese, turkey and avocado, or peanut butter and jelly.

Bring Spanish tapas to your picnic

Including Spanish tapas in your picnic menu is a great way to add a touch of local flavor to your outdoor dining experience. Spanish tapas are small, flavorful dishes that are meant to be shared and enjoyed with friends and family. Here are some simple Spanish tapas that are perfect for a picnic. Most of these items you can buy (freshly made) at the supermarket!
