With a bit of experience, cloud radar and cloud forecasts can give you an idea about clouds and rain showers in the next 4–8 hours. Which is good if you want to go hiking or go for a bike ride. I use the Android app from Weather & Radar.

For temperature, I found the meteoblue model to be very good. For wind, nobody seems to have a clue.
