Indian cuisine is a diverse and flavorful blend of spices, herbs, and cooking techniques that has become increasingly popular around the world. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Indian food is also a popular cuisine among digital nomads.
One of the most popular Indian dishes is Tandoori chicken, which is marinated in yogurt and a blend of spices before being cooked in a tandoor oven. This dish is often served with mint chutney and is a great option for those looking for a flavorful and spicy dish.
Another popular Indian dish is lamb vindaloo. This dish is a spicy curry made with a blend of spices, including chili peppers, and is typically served with rice or naan bread.
Biryani is another delicious Indian dish that is popular among foodies. Biryani is a rice dish made with spices, meat, and vegetables. Vegetarian options are also available, with a mix of various vegetables, beans, and lentils, as well as cashew nuts, raisins and saffron.
Indian cuisine also offers a wide range of vegetarian options, including dishes like Chana Masala, which is a spicy chickpea dish and Saag Paneer, which is a spinach and cheese dish.

Any recommendations for a good Indian restaurant?
Food was delicious, service was kind and friendly. The restaurant name is New Delhi.
Curcumaa is the best! By a long way.
Casa Tandoori isn’t bad — its menu del día is pretty good value (Mon-Fri, not holidays). There are other places in Maspalomas; Gorka Palace (near Playa del Veril) was recommended to me by Ray https://gorkha-palace-indian-and-nepali-tandoori.business.site
There is still Curcumaa if you fancy takeaway or Glovo delivery. The menu del día at Casa Tandoori is good value. The price recently upped to €13.50.
Curcuuma on Calle Alfredo L Jones (takeaway only)
Best Indian restaurant in Las Palmas for lunch?
I like Casa Tandoori (Indian and Nepali restaurant) near Plaza de España. They have a great menu del día from Monday – Friday.
Curcumaa is a takeaway only restaurant (on Calle Alfredo L Jones) and is superb.
Any recommendation for an Indian restaurant in Puerto Rico?
Taj Palace in Mogan Mall.
Auntie’s Kitchen GC is superb. But you have to reserve a table on Facebook as it’s always heaving.
Taj Palace in Mogan Mall has good Indian food.
