Table tennis, also known as ping pong, is a sport that has been enjoyed by people of all ages for over a century. The objective of the game is to hit the ball back and forth over the net, with the opponent unable to return the ball.

Playing table tennis in Las Palmas

In Gran Canaria, finding a place to play table tennis can be a bit challenging, specifically in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. So far, our community located only one place in Las Palmas to play table tennis.

I went to Centro Commercial La Ballena and saw two of these tables. You pay by 30-minute chunks. When time is up, the metal net goes ridiculously high up to prevent people from continuing to play.

Centro Commercial La Ballena in Siete Palmas has an amusement center with two tables. They are basic with a metal net, but good enough for a game. The price is €2 per 30 minutes (and the machine only accepts coins of €0,50).
