Do you need wetsuit to surf in Las Canteras from late September to late October?

Also, do you think booties are a must?

Yip, the water gets cooler quickly towards the end of October so you’ll need a wetsuit.

I’ve only seen a few people wearing booties (<10%) and I’ve never felt like I needed them for warmth even though the winter.
