Restaurant Recommendations Maspalomas
Maspalomas is a very touristy destination and it can be hard to find good food. I’ve tried several restaurants in Maspalomas and here are some of my recommendations. I hope you will enjoy them! Also read the recommendations from our community members.
Restaurante Kilรณmetro00 – dinner
Restaurante Kilรณmetro 00 is a real gem, hidden in the odd shopping mall Cita. It’s an Italian gourmet pasta bar, with high quality ingredients and a great selection of wines. One of my favourite pastas on the menu is the truffle carbonara, it never disappoints. The pannacotta with red wine reduction is also a must-try. They recently added a tasting menu, which allows you to try multiple starters and pastas. Make sure to be hungry if you take the tasting menu, because you will be served a lot of food! I really recommend you Kilรณmetro 00 restaurant! It is so good! I found it on this website and I tried it yesterday, yum! I ordered the truffle carbonara and the mortadella focaccia.
Calma Cafรฉ – breakfast, lunch & brunch
Calma Cafรฉ serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and homemade sweets from Monday till Friday. Their sandwiches and wraps are amazing and they make some pretty good cinnamon rolls too. On their menu you will find a seperate vegetarian menu and a menu with their vegan dishes. They also have some gluten free options.
Good Vibes – dinner & drinks
Good Vibes (cocktail bar and restaurant) is known for their cocktails, burgers, tacos and ofcourse the good vibes of the restaurant. A bi plus is that every dish on the menu can be converted into a vegetarian or vegan-friendly version. Good vibes all over!
B2 burgerbar – lunch, dinner & drinks
B2 burgerbar This restaurant is known for their burgers รกnd local and international artisanal fresh beers. They have a big selection of beers, so I’d definitely recommend to try a few. If you order a burger you can pick the type of fries you want: go for the rustic fries, you won’t regret!
Restaurante LoLa – dinner
If you want something a bit more special, try Restaurante LoLa, for a casual fine dining experience. Their menu changes every three months, so you can try new dishes every time. Most dishes are gluten free, but I wouldn’t recommend to go here if you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet.
Parque Romรกntico – lunch & dinner
Restaurante Parque Romรกntico is a resort restaurant, but open to the public. A reservation is required though. They describe themselves as “a stylish resort restaurant serving contemporary Mediterranean seafood with Asian touches.” I would definitely come back for their tuna tartar with mustard ice cream!
El Segundo Muelle
El Segundo Muelle has locations both in Maspalomas and in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I’ve tried the restaurant in Las Palmas de GC and I enjoyed their food, so I guess it’s safe to recommend it also in Maspalomas.

Does anyone have recommendations where to have lunch on Monday?
Try Mr. Kale or The New Rustico (note from admin: The New Rustico is not open for lunch, but I’ll still keep the recommendation here for a dinner recommendation)
Sawadee Meloneras should be open for lunch and is delicious. And Tavolo14 has great pizza and is open all day.
Is there a dancing school/workshops in the south to learn salsa and bachata?
There is bachata class on Thursday at El Tablero. And Stop In Brazil in Playa del Inglรจs, I think they have some classes on Friday evening also.
MOJITO SUR in the Kashbah Shopping Center and Stop In Brazil. Both for dance classes and to go out dancing.
Who’s got recommendations for bars/clubs in Playa del Inglรฉs for a girls only night?
Is China White / Pacha still a thing? They had EDM last time I went like 100 years ago. But honestly best night out in the South for me is MamaJuana. It does have regeaton but the vibe and place are fantastic!

I really recommend you Kilรณmetro 00 restaurant! It is so good! I found it on this website and I tried it yesterday, yum! I ordered the truffle carbonara and the mortadella focaccia.
Pizzerรญa Pomodoro&Mozzarella for pizza napolitana (in El Tablero). And for Italian in Puerto de Mogan, try A Casa Mia.

Maspalomas: Restaurante LoLa is nice (food), Good Vibes (food & cocktails), B2BurgerBar (beers & burgers), Parque Romantico (food, sounds romantic but is also fine to go with friends), Calma Cafรฉ (breakfast/brunch/lunch) and ofcourse, Kilometro00,ย the gourmet pasta place I’m always talking about!
1) Tipsy Hammock is a good bar.
2) The Irish Tavern: itโs quite cheap and there is more youth.
For club, people suggested me Aqua Ocean Club, but I haven’t been there myself.
There are two main shopping centers with nightlife:
1) Yumbo, main place for LGBTQ+ community
2) Kasbah, I saw more English people there
For food: El Churrasco, you have to make a reservation. For icecream and crepes I recommend Soul Penguin.
Cant recommend ENOUGH a tapas place called WAPA TAPA in the Yumbo Centre in Maspalomas! We had 8 different tapas and 4 different deserts. Tasted perfect. They normally ask for a reservation a day upfront over WhatsApp.
If you’re looking for burgers, try B2 Burgerbar! They have great burgers and a huge selection of local and international beers.
