Step 1: Obtain a Number
- Upon entering the building, locate the machine for obtaining a number.
- There are two options on the machine; select the second one.
- The machine will print a receipt with your number.
Step 2: Desk Registration
- Wait until your number is called, and then proceed to the desk.
- Explain your situation to the staff at the desk.
- They may request temporary registration, which typically requires providing a passport.
- If you possess an EU/Global health card/EHIC, present it as it can simplify the process (and you will not have to pay for your emergency visit).
Step 3: Urgent Care Desk
- After completing the initial paperwork at the desk, proceed to the “Urgencias” (Urgent Care) desk.
Step 4: Doctor’s Appointment
- Follow the instructions provided at the Urgent Care desk and proceed to your appointment with the doctor.
Step 5: Payment Process
- Be prepared for the possibility of receiving an invoice in a few days for the medical services.
- If you are staying at a temporary location (like an AirBnb or hotel) and plan to leave soon, request to make the payment on-site.
- Ensure you bring the exact amount for cash payment, as they can not provide change.
Please note that if you possess a European health card, there will be no payment process, since the visit will be covered by your European Health Insurance.
