What is “Funky Tacos” at Mazu Street
Funky Tacos is the name of our weekly social event that takes place every Wednesday from 7PM till midnight at Mazu Street. Restaurant Mazu Street is located at Calle Lepanto 7 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It’s a casual meetup with delicious Mexican food, cocktails and live music.
What can I expect at Mazu Street?
Our weekly gathering every Wednesday, Funky Tacos, is a social event that offers great food, cocktails, and music. You can enjoy delicious Mexican food, as well as other options such as hamburgers, tostadas, and ceviche. Vegan options are available too. There is also a DJ playing music to keep you entertained throughout the night.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
We started this weekly event in January and so far, we’ve mainly spent our time indoors. Mazu Street however has a very nice terrace, so weather permitting, we’ll be outdoors next time!
Is there an entrance fee?
No, there is no entrance fee to join, and no RSVP is required. It’s recommended to come early in the evening to secure a spot. It is not mandatory to eat, but highly recommended because the food is delicious!
Who is the target audience for Funky Tacos?
The event is targeted towards members of Live it up, Las Palmas!, and everyone who wants to connect with this community. However, the event is open to anyone who wants to join and enjoy the food, music, and company.
Are there any age restrictions for attending the event?
No, there are no age restrictions for joining us at Mazu Street. The restaurant is kid-friendly, so feel free to bring your little ones.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, you can. Mazu Street is pet-friendly.
