What’s the best place for windsurfing in Gran Canaria?

Pozo Izquierdo is definitely not for beginners! They can take you to a nearby lagoon (can’t remember the name) but the actual spot in Pozo is rocky wavy and overall only for advanced!

Bahía de Formas is best for beginners and intermediates to practice windsurfing in Gran Canaria.

I recommend Pozo Izquierdo, it’s where they hold the international competitions. You can hire windsurfing material there as well. You should go to Bahia de Formas, which is right next to Pozo Izquierdo, and ask for classes there at the beach.
