Steps to Obtain the NIE Number
Step 1: Determine Your Reason for Needing a NIE Number

For EU Citizens

For Non-EU Citizens

Step 3: Make an Appointment
- Online Appointment System: Schedule an appointment through the official Spanish government website: Make an Appointment.
- Select your province (Las Palmas for Gran Canaria).
- Select “Solicitud de autorizaciones”
- Choose the “Policía-Asignación de NIE” option.

Step 4: Attend the Appointment
