Vegan milk chocolate is an intriguing addition to the world of confectionery, offering an alternative to traditional milk chocolate for those who follow plant-based diets or have dietary restrictions. This chocolate variation maintains the smooth and creamy texture associated with milk chocolate while eschewing animal-derived ingredients like milk solids and butterfat. It’s crafted using various plant-based alternatives such as almond milk, coconut milk, or rice milk, ensuring a flavorful experience that appeals to a broader audience. With its focus on sustainability and ethical choices, vegan milk chocolate has gained popularity among individuals who prioritize conscious consumption without compromising on taste.
I have seen vegan milk chocolate bars at Lidl.
I’ve seen vegan Lindt milk chocolate bars in El Corte Inglés supermarket and Carrefour.
At Spar Natural and many other herbal shops (“herbolarios“) you can find vegan milk chocolate too. For example, “La Huertecilla de Ana” in Calle Tomás Morales or “La Zanahoria“. The last one has two locations; one in front of Mercado Central (near Mesa y Lopez), and the other in Calle Luis Doreste Silva. You also have a lot of vegan chocolate spreads in these places, including in “La Fucha” herbal shop in Guanarteme.
In some HiperDinos there are sections with bio / eco / vegan products. There’s one in the store on Mesa y López for example and they often have vegan products there. I remember buying some vegan snacks myself however I’m not sure if they have the vegan chocolate. I’d take a look if I was passing by.
