I will never forget how I found this amazing pasta restaurant in Maspalomas after spending a day at Playa del Ingles with my friends in 2020. It was our first trip outside Las Palmas de Gran Canaria since the lockdown (pandemic) and Maspalomas was unusually quiet. We found an Italian restaurant to be open, according to Google Maps and walked into a weird mall. We decided to give the restaurant a try and we were right away blown away by the homemade tomato soup with parmesan ice cream. It was so delicious that we kept coming back for more.
The restaurant has everything you could ask for: great food quality, fair prices, lots of great wines, big portions, and friendly service. The menu is always changing and offering new surprises, like a mouthwatering tasting menu and a variety of pasta dishes, both traditional and gourmet. Some of the highlights for me are the smoked burrata, the truffle carbonara and the beef cheek ragout. This restaurant has become a part of my food journey, and I still go there frequently.

Kilómetro 00 is not a regular pizzeria, but a pasta bar and wine bar. They have an extensive menu with different types of fresh pasta, made with organic ingredients and authentic Italian recipes. You can choose from the classics, but also from more creative combinations like pasta carbonara with truffle. The portions are generous and the flavors are intense.
Besides pasta, they also have a selection of appetizers and desserts. Besides the smoked burrata, the courgette flowers and vegetarian croquettas are some of my other favourites. You also can’t go wrong with their cheese and charcuterie board! For dessert, I can recommend the tiramisu, panna cotta with red wine reduction and the brownie.
I really recommend you Kilómetro 00 restaurant! It is so good! I found it on this website and I tried it yesterday, yum! I ordered the truffle carbonara and the mortadella focaccia.
What I also like about Kilómetro 00 is their wine list. They have a wide choice of (Italian) wines, both red and white, that match perfectly with the pastas. You can order by the glass or by the bottle, and get advice from the friendly sommelier.
Kilómetro 00 is a restaurant where you feel at home right away. The decor is modern and cozy, with wooden tables, comfortable chairs and atmospheric lighting. The music is soft and pleasant, and the service is attentive and professional. The restaurant is not very big, so it is advisable to book in advance, especially on weekends.
