Smoke-Free Meetups at Bar San Remo: A Healthier Environment for Our Community

I am excited to announce an important change to our weekly community meetups at Bar San Remo. Starting immediately, our gatherings will be smoke-free to ensure a healthier and more enjoyable environment for everyone.

Our community meetups have always been a vibrant and diverse gathering for internationals, including digital nomads, expats, local professionals, immigrants, remote workers and even tourists, students, and other interested people. By making our meetups smoke-free, we aim to create an even more welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

The meetups take place every Tuesday at Bar San Remo, located at Calle Secretario Artiles 42, 35007 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The event starts at 8 PM and continues until the bar closes at 2 AM. While the terrace has to close at midnight, many people stay until the bar closes, so don’t be afraid to show up later.

Attendance at the meetup is free, though you will need to purchase your own drinks at the bar. Drinks are paid for when ordered to avoid any confusion or forgotten bills, and you can pay with either cash or card.

Please note that the terrace has only 16 seats available. If these are filled, newcomers can join inside, and the event will expand to take over the entire bar, especially during the busy winter season. To ensure everyone’s safety and respect for neighboring businesses, please do not take chairs from other venues. You are welcome to stand outside with your drink on the table as long as it doesn’t get too crowded.
